How this site makes money

Who pays us

What that money does and does not change

What we do not do
- We do not hide or soften a provider because it does not pay us.
- We do not accept payment to raise a grade, and no provider is shown a grade before it is published.
- We do not put affiliate links on utility pages. Those pages carry no paid link at all.
- We do not print a price without its billing cycle and what it buys. Of the 3 providers graded, 3 publish a price we could read, and 1 of those publish only a from-price rather than a standing rate.
Outbound links
Every link to a provider — paid or not — leaves this site through a /go/ redirect on our own domain, so that clicks can be counted per page and per position. That redirect is closed to search crawlers. Links to providers we are paid by carry a tracking identifier; links to providers we are paid nothing by carry none, because there is nothing to track.
