The short version
This site publishes graded rankings. It has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no checkout, so nothing here asks you for personal information. It does run one analytics tag, named in full below, which counts page reads. That tag is on by default and you can turn it off on this page.

Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device — _ga and _ga_<stream> — holding a random identifier so repeat visits are counted as one reader rather than several. Nothing in them identifies you by name. Opting out above deletes them and stops new ones being written. Your browser may also keep ordinary technical state, and our hosting provider processes request data — including IP address and user agent — to serve pages and to filter automated traffic. That is a security and delivery function, not profiling, and it is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
Outbound links and affiliate tracking
Every link to a provider leaves this site through a redirect on our own domain. Where we have a commercial relationship with that provider, the redirect adds identifiers naming the provider, the page and the position you clicked from, so a sign-up can be attributed to a page. Those identifiers describe where the click came from. They do not contain your name, your email address or any health information, because this site does not hold any of those. Where we have no commercial relationship, the redirect adds nothing at all. This is set out on the disclosure page.
Once you land on a provider’s site, that provider’s privacy policy governs — including anything you type into its intake. We never receive what you enter there.
Health information
This site is not a covered entity and does not collect, store or process health information. Do not send medical details to the contact address; it cannot be treated confidentially and there is no clinician here to read it.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Analytics is on by default and you can turn it off with the switch above. Doing so takes effect on the page you press it, not on your next visit: Google Analytics stops using an identifier for you, and the cookies it has already written on this device are deleted.
Global Privacy Control is honored, and it is read first. If your browser or an extension sends the GPC signal, analytics is off for you before anything on this page is consulted, and the notice does not appear at all.
We hold no account, no mailing list and no health information, so there is no profile here to access, correct or export. If this site ever adds another vendor or another kind of collection, this page will name it, say what it receives, and describe how to opt out, before the collection starts.
